Hot Nurses........

I wonder how many hits this post is getting because of its title. Sorry, no porn here, just a discussion about hot weather and nursing uniforms. Look at these poor ladies. I can't imagine what it was like being tied up in corset and wearing a long starched dress on a hot summer day. No wonder women were always getting "the vapors." It got up to 98 degrees today, and there is no way I could wear one of those uniforms in this kind of heat. Good thing today's uniforms are comfortable, and that nurses work in air conditioned facilities. If we didn't, the nursing shortage would get a lot worse.

when i was in nursing school, the director came from being trained by nuns. She insisted we wear dresses and hats! I am talking about 1994. give me a break. those things were hot and ugly. if that were required uniforms to this day, i would have a new career.

As a career cop I can relate to those uniforms! I can also relate to the "hot" nurses. In my experience there was always an unspoken bond between cops and nurses. I think it might have something to do with all that dying, and the "hot" uniforms of course..... :-)

Hello everyone. The sun is going down, and I've crawled out of my air conditioned bedroom just long enough to check my e-mail and check out the blogs. We don't air condition the whole house, and it's about 100 degrees in my office.

Kt: You mentioned nursing school uniforms. Ugh! I remember those days. I didn't have nun to deal with, but I dealt with teachers who were taught by nuns. They were mean. They also made us wear uncomfortable uniforms and hats. Maybe we can go look for new jobs together if those darn uniforms ever become manditory again.

May: Yes, hot nurses are totally cool. Thanks for dropping by.

And to Madmike: Cops and nurses go together like peanut butter and jelly. Lot of my friends date cops. There is an unspoken bond. Believe me, when I call the police to help me on my psych unit because someone is getting violent, cops from our county, as well as two surrounding counties come running. Even off duty cops show up when we call for help. I love a man in uniform. Thanks for stopping by.

Ok, you got me. I saw the title of the post and I just had to read. Docs were probably wearing layers and layers of clothing back then also during a hot summer day.

Now what do I wear to work? Corsets and long starched dresses. What? Just kidding....

Hello nurse Ratched, I think you are a hottie! I know that because I saw your movie a long, long time ago.

I wonder if you could kindly explain to me, why do you have hospitals there based on religious denominations? Do you go strictly to one that is "the right kind" or does it matter?

I see that, you like rich old men and since I am half a way there, being old, may I suggest my sercices to you? Have a luggage and will travel.
